Premium RG8X CB Coax - 25', 50', 75,' 100'

Description

This is our highest grade RG8X coax made available in a variety of lengths to meet the needs of every CBer. The extended length RG8X has all the functionalities of your basic coax - but also goes above and beyond. This is the ideal cable if you’re installing a base station or a long mobile application. A 95%+ shielding rating prevents signal leak and outside interference, resulting in longer transmission range and a clearer signal. The cable's hand-soldered, quality PL-259 ends are less likely to break or short than cables with molded ends. The RG8X is constructed to be thicker than the RG-58 and is recommended for situations where the coax may see higher-than-average wear or when a stouter cable is desired. Available in 25', 50', 75' and 100' lengths.

Choosing Coax Length

Choosing the right length of coax cable is 100% dependent on your installation. We recommend that you measure the distance from your radio to the antenna and choose the cable that is closest to that length. If you have excess cable, be sure to store it in a loose 1' - 2' loop that is lightly cinched in the middle.
